Driving Home for Christmas ⎪ #12daysofkindness (8)

Listen to the song: Driving Home for Christmas – Chris Rea

This post is written in honor for my little Julia who is literally driving home for Christmas…well…more flying home for Christmas this year.

Every time I listen to this song I have the end scene of my all-time favorite movie Love Actually in mind. The one where all the different people see each other in the end and all these reunions are put into one big collage. That always brings a big smile and a few tears to my face. Every single year.

Unfortunately, I will not have a reunion for Christmas this year. It makes a little sad, of course but I try not to think too much about it. Next year I am going to celebrate with my family and friends again. That’s for sure ☺️

But let’s get to today’s task. Today I want you to

Maybe it’s someone you haven’t seen for a while. A person you just had a reunion with or maybe it’s just a usual coffee date with your colleague from work or with friend from school. It doesn’t matter. Take this time today, catch up and just enjoy being with this person you’ve picked. It must be a special one.

But for now, have a great day, spread some kindness and I see you in my next post. Definitely keep me updated on how your challenge is going!

Also: I would like to know if you have a Driving home for Christmas story? ☺️

Much love, Franziska

P.S. Have a good flight home, my dearest Julie, and hug all our friends from me!
