Colleen Hoover delivers a tour de force novel about a troubled marriage and the one old forgotten promise that might be able to save it.
Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.
All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?
The doorman didn’t smile at me.
All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover has probably been my most anticipated read of 2018. Well okay, not just probably, it WAS my most anticipated read.
And let me tell you, I didn’t get disappointed.
After Without Merit was rather a flop in my opinion, I was a tiny bit scared that All Your Perfects could be the same but it wasn’t. Colleen Hoover didn’t disappoint me at all.
I went into the story complete blind headed. I didn’t know which topic the book would deal with and that was the best thing which could have happened. Like this, I experienced the story without any prejudices and oh my goodness, I got so surprised and wrecked by it. I definitely didn’t expect all the emotions.
All Your Perfects is about two love stories. One about Then and one about Now. I loved having this contrast of the love story you know from recent Colleen Hoover books, like November 9 or Confess and then there is this new one. The one which will surprise you with all its emotions. I never expected it to be so hurtful and heart wrecking and I still can’t believe how good Colleen Hoover dealt with this important topic I will not spoiler you with now. I would probably compare this new love story with Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. It was the perfect mixture of love, sadness, pain, passion and curing. The right amount of everything which makes a good love story.
I loved Quinn and Graham from the beginning on. I cried with them, l laughed with them, I wanted to hug and shake them at the same time. Sometimes their actions were so hurtful, not only for them but also for the reader since Colleen Hoover’s writing style is out of this world and you can feel everything the character is feeling as well. Nevertheless, I always could understand and retrace them and their actions and oh man, this book is something else. It let my heart behind so sad but with so much love for the characters and their incredible strength and love for each other. Even though they are just book characters, I truly admirer their staying power and I wish to experience such a love for myself one day.
Guys, All Your Perfects is something else.
I can’t describe how much I loved this book. It has been amazing and so heart wrecking and I am more than grateful that Colleen Hoover wrote it. It is so important and eye opening and a must read for everyone.
