I still can’t believe Books and Peonies is already two years old. A lot has changed but I thought I am going to do the traditional Q&A again 🙂 I absolutely love Q&As. Definitely check out my first blog post & the one from last year.

I also wanted to say thank you to all of you who have stayed by my side. It means a lot and I can’t express the love I have for you guys. You are very special and make me so happy. Thank you ♥️

But now, without further ado, let’s get into this Q&A.

Any Tips for New Bloggers who want to grow their site?

. Start writing about one specific topic you feel passionate about

. Think of a catchy name

. Comment on other people’s posts. They will remember you and then more likely look at your page as well

. Be consistent. So so important, especially at the beginning

. Last but not least: Love what you do. People will notice that. At least that is what I always notice and love about my favorite bloggers 🙂

Do you have a favorite post/picture?

A favorite post I’ve written? I hope that is how the question was meant 🙂

Okay, so I really like my recent post Beautiful because everything I said comes straight from my heart and I love the feedback I received 🙂 It felt very powerful! Another favorite one is One My Way. Every time I listen to this song I still get goosebumps and feel taken aback. It is an exciting but also nostalgic feeling. I hope I can write a blog post like this one soon again 🙂

Do you have a favorite blog post of mine? I would really love to know that 🙂

Do you feel bored or uninterested for some days in blogging? Have you ever tried to give up?

Definitely! Just a few weeks ago I got so frustrated and annoyed by Instagram that I had to take a break for a week. I wish I would do that more often. I definitely also thought about quitting a few times. Even though I absolutely love the people and my community but sometimes it’s just so stressful to produce content and to not worry about numbers.

I have to distinguish between Instagram and my Blog though. I could definitely imagine stopping posting on my Instagram whereas I could never imagine the same thing for my blog. I love this place wayyy too much to give up on it. I’ve been blogging for about five years now (two on this new blog) and I love to fill this place with stories. It is such a big part of me and I don’t want to miss it 🙂

Which plant is highest in your wishlist?

This is probably such a basic answer but I would die to get a variegated Monestra!! Oh my, that would a dream come true. So, if someone knows where you can get one from, please tell me!

How many plants do you have?

22!

How did you grow your avocado plant/tree?

From a little seed 🙂 It is so hard to explain but if you follow the steps on this picture, you soon will have a little avocado plant.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

At the moment I would love going back to living in Canada. I know, I am probably already annoying every single person out there with this place but I love the person I’ve been back there so much. I feel like I’ve been so much braver and really really lived my life. I literally can’t wait to go back this summer.

  1. Happy Blog Anniversary! 😀 I loved this Q & A! I can totally relate to getting frustrated with blogging/IG. It’s easy to forget about the reason behind why you started it and to not be so concerned about engagement, numbers, etc. I’m glad you took a step back for a bit! If it helps at all, the number of times someone posts or responds to comments never affects whether or not I follow them or read their blog. As long as they stay happy and true to themselves, I’ll stick with them! I love your content and am so glad to see there are genuine people like you out there! Wishing you the best Franziska!
