BOOKS: 3 ROMANCE novels everyone should have read

I am very into romance novels lately and so I thought, I am going to share my three favorite ones with you today. Have fun!

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

my rating: 5/5 ★

synopsis:

Stella Lane thinks math is the only thing that unites the universe. She comes up with algorithms to predict customer purchases–a job that has given her more money than she knows what to do with, and way less experience in the dating department than the average thirty-year-old.

It doesn’t help that Stella has Asperger’s and French kissing reminds her of a shark getting its teeth cleaned by pilot fish. Her conclusion: she needs lots of practice–with a professional. Which is why she hires escort Michael Phan. The Vietnamese and Swedish stunner can’t afford to turn down Stella’s offer, and agrees to help her check off all the boxes on her lesson plan–from foreplay to more-than-missionary position…

Before long, Stella not only learns to appreciate his kisses, but to crave all the other things he’s making her feel. Soon, their no-nonsense partnership starts making a strange kind of sense. And the pattern that emerges will convince Stella that love is the best kind of logic…

what I love about the story:

This book has been completely different from all romance novels I’ve read before. The story and the characters were something else and there is no other option than to just love this book. All in all, it has been a very cute, fulfilling and refreshing read and the characters are just lovable! Definitely, go check it out!

All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover

my rating: 5/5 ★

synopsis:

Colleen Hoover delivers a tour de force novel about a troubled marriage and the one old forgotten promise that might be able to save it.

Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.

All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?

what I love about the story:

All Your Perfect has everything a good romance novel should include. The cute love story in contrast to the hard reality. I promise you, your heart will get wrecked, you will feel with the characters, their pain and their love and in the end still will thank Colleen Hoover for writing such an incredible book. Go now, and pick it up!

180 Seconds by Jessica Park

my rating: 4/5 ★

synopsis:

Some people live their entire lives without changing their perspective. For Allison Dennis, all it takes is 180 seconds…

After a life spent bouncing from one foster home to the next, Allison is determined to keep others at arm’s length. Adopted at sixteen, she knows better than to believe in the permanence of anything. But as she begins her third year in college, she finds it increasingly difficult to disappear into the white noise pouring from her earbuds.

One unsuspecting afternoon, Allison is roped into a social experiment just off campus. Suddenly, she finds herself in front of a crowd, forced to interact with a complete stranger for 180 seconds. Neither she, nor Esben Baylor, the dreamy social media star seated opposite her, is prepared for the outcome.

When time is called, the intensity of the experience overwhelms Allison and Esben in a way that unnerves and electrifies them both. With a push from her oldest friend, Allison embarks on a journey to find out if what she and Esben shared is the real thing—and if she can finally trust in herself, in others, and in love.

what I love about the story:

Love, family and friendship play an very important role in 180 Seconds and I would definitely recommend the book, if you are looking for a feel-good read. The end made me cry, so if that is not reason enough to go pick it up, then I don’t know how else I can convince you.
